A Ruby-throated Hummingbird

The ruby throated hummingbird is a very secretive and elusive bird. This visual journey chronicles their nesting cycle over a 43 day period, from building a suitable nest to fledging their young. It also gives you a look at other nesting birds including the northern goshawk, hermit thrush and pileated woodpecker.
